The Mindset and Wellbeing Coaching & Artist Development’ program is 22 coaching sessions, catching up 1:1 with Sonny Southon online weekly, followed by 4 informal catchup sessions.
During each coaching session Sonny helps musicians navigate the music industry’s complex landscape, set realistic goals, stay focused and productive, unpacking any challenges, nurture a positive growth mindset, establish the habits and key support systems for a career in the music businesses.
Sessions are all inclusive and provide a 100% confidential safe space for all musicians, regardless of gender identity and backgrounds, to share and explore their goals, challenges and create careers that align with their values as well as learning the importance of mental health and wellbeing for success.

Sonny is a musician and yoga teacher. She has aligned her passion for all things music, health, wellbeing and yoga, by up-skilling as a Professional Coach, studying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), certifying in Small Business Management, founded and launched The MusicSeeds to offer Mindset & Wellbeing Coaching for musicians & Artist Development Programs.
After a career spanning a few decades, Sonny brings to the coaching table a wealth of experience and knowledge from both inside and outside the recording studio, as a musician, singer-songwriter, engineer, producer, performer and an Artist. Sonny signed both major publishing and recording contracts in the UK and LA, as well as performed with legendary artists. She is a Professional Coach and an E-RYT500 YACEP Advanced Yoga Teacher. Her life experience is full after travelling solo, navigating the world as a touring female musician and setting up homes in London, Manchester, Los Angeles, Milan and Sydney.
Sonny is passionate about helping others – whether with their health and wellbeing, nurturing growth mindset, songwriting, setting up home studios, performing live, releasing music, understanding the complex world of copyright and royalties, contracts, the roles of managers and booking agents, record and publishing companies, professional recording sessions, mixing/mastering sessions, PR, sync’ing music to film, social media, finances and help setting up a structured business.
Sonny has always been interested in, and continually studies health and psychology, integrating into her coaching sessions a sharp focus on the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of musicians and the importance of work/life balance.
